Actress Sameera Reddy encourages everyone to try her nutritious yet tasty Lauki ka Brownie. She often shares such wholesome recipes that are a treat for the palate, disclosing the required ingredients for these brownies in her post. The recipe includes grated lauki, jaggery, cocoa powder, peanut butter, milk, oil, vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips.
To prepare the brownies, grate the lauki and gently remove excess water to ensure they are soft and moist. Combine jaggery, peanut butter, milk, oil, and vanilla with the grated lauki to form a mixture. Then, add oat flour/maida, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and mix well. Lastly, fold in some chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
Pour the batter into a greased tray or parchment paper and bake at 180°C for 25 to 30 minutes until fully cooked. Allow the brownies to cool slightly before cutting them into uniform pieces.
