Indian cricketer Sanju Samson, known for his role in the IPL team Chennai Super Kings, humorously revealed that he declined an acting offer in Basil Joseph’s film ‘Athiradi’ because the role was too small.
At a pre-release event in Chennai, Basil Joseph mentioned that they had approached Samson for a part in the movie, but he politely refused. Samson, a close friend of Joseph, jokingly explained that if he were to act, he preferred a more significant role.
