Renowned Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaaj, known for his hit track “Jaiye Sajana” from the movie “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” recently posted photos on Instagram with actor Vicky Kaushal, describing it as a night of love, art, and companionship. The pictures included moments of embracing Vicky, posing together, and sharing smiles with actor Sunil Grover. Sartaaj expressed gratitude for the warmth and love received in Bombay and Punjab.
Satinder Sartaaj, hailing from Hoshiarpur, Punjab, began his music career in his 20s and gained fame with the song “Sai,” performing globally since then. His film debut was as Maharaja Duleep Singh in The Black Prince in 2017. In 2008, he garnered attention with a performance in Toronto after organizers discovered him on YouTube and invited him to sing for the Punjabi-Canadian audience.
Sartaaj won the “Best International Act” at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards in 2011. He ventured into the American film industry with a lead role in The Black Prince and has appeared in Punjabi films like Ikko Mikke and Kali Jotta. Meanwhile, the movie “Dhurandhar-The Revenge” is currently a box-office success, revolving around an Indian intelligence agent infiltrating criminal syndicates in Karachi, seeking vengeance for the 26/11 attacks, and facing significant challenges inspired by real events.
