Remember the lively song “Goli maar bheje mein” from the movie Satya? Actor Saurabh Shukla recently revealed amusing anecdotes about its quick shoot. In 1998, when the film was made, songs in Bollywood typically took days to film. However, this particular song was completed in just 5.5 hours.
Shukla explained that back then, songs usually required 3 to 4 days of shooting. In contrast, the energetic and raw vibe of “Goli maar bheje mein” was captured swiftly. The actor shared that the shoot had a spontaneous feel with minimal choreography and a single-camera setup. Real beer props were even provided, although not consumed by the cast during filming.
After wrapping up the shoot, the team headed to a party at Saurabh Shukla’s house. However, their journey was momentarily halted when their car was stopped on the way. The actors, still in their costumes, had to clarify to the officer that they had not been drinking. Despite the brief interruption, the shoot’s efficiency and subsequent celebration left lasting memories.
