The fatal collision occurred on National Highway-130, near Chotiya, under the Bango police station’s jurisdiction. Tyagi, a senior official recently promoted to a key leadership role, suffered critical injuries in the high-speed crash.

Tyagi, a respected figure in the coal sector known for his technical expertise and strategic acumen, was swiftly taken to Apollo Hospital for emergency medical care after the collision.
