In Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, security forces conducted coordinated anti-LWE operations, recovering dangerous improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other insurgent materials. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) teams carried out intensive searches, uncovering hidden caches of Maoist supplies, including explosives and essential items for rebel operations. The forces also neutralized buried IEDs and destroyed Maoist propaganda symbols.
In the Tadpala base region, CRPF battalions found two IEDs planted near a drain, one concealed in a beer bottle and the other in a Barrel Grenade Launcher structure. Additionally, a hidden cache of Maoist supplies was discovered, containing various materials crucial for sustaining rebel activities in remote forests. The security forces focused on eliminating explosive threats and dismantling propaganda elements to disrupt Maoist networks in the region.
In a separate operation in the Bhopalpatnam police station area, a joint team conducted demining operations and located buried beer bottle IEDs planted by Maoists. All recovered IEDs were immediately destroyed to ensure the safety of civilians and security personnel. The CRPF battalions also dismantled illegal memorials constructed by insurgents in the forests to curb symbolic influence and discourage recruitment efforts.
