The Sapta Shakti Command’s Gyan Shakti Think Tank organized a seminar on “Iran War and its geopolitical implications” at Jaipur Military Station. The event attracted a varied audience, including serving officers, veterans, academicians, and students from top institutions in Jaipur. The panel featured former Chief of Air Staff Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria and distinguished diplomats like Dinkar Srivastava, Gopal Baglay, and Satish Mehta, who shared insights on the conflict involving Iran.
The discussion delved into the geographical and historical context of the conflict, as well as the socio-political mindset of the nations involved. Panellists examined the broader impact of the war on global economies and the evolving world order, especially considering the diminishing influence of international monitoring institutions and alliances. Key issues such as the legality of force use, targeted leadership strikes, and the changing face of warfare with a focus on artificial intelligence and air power were thoroughly analyzed.
In his closing remarks, PS Shekhawat, Chief of Staff of the Sapta Shakti Command, praised the speakers for their valuable perspectives. He highlighted modern warfare trends, including the weaponization of economic interdependencies, the shift in global power centers, and the increasing significance of perception in shaping strategic and economic outcomes. Since its establishment in November 2024, the Gyan Shakti Think Tank has organized thirteen seminars on various strategic topics, serving as a vibrant platform for intellectual discourse on defense and geopolitical matters.
