Senior BJP leaders expressed their approval of the trade agreement with the US, calling it a significant milestone that showcases India’s growing global influence under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. The deal is expected to bolster India’s economy, open up new trade prospects globally, and reinforce the nation’s status as a self-reliant and confident country.
Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal highlighted that the agreement signifies India’s capability to transform challenges into opportunities, attributing this success to PM Modi’s leadership. He emphasized the government’s focus on defense and security in the recent budget, underscoring how India, once viewed as burdened by its population, now sees it as a valuable asset under PM Modi’s guidance.
BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa also lauded the agreement, emphasizing its importance in strengthening bilateral relations. He noted the positive dialogue between PM Modi and US President Donald Trump, highlighting the substantial progress made in a short period. President Trump’s expressed desire for a robust and enduring trade deal with India further underscored the significance of the pact.
Additionally, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh praised the deal as a testament to India’s growing confidence on the global stage. He emphasized India’s newfound resilience and independence, stating that attempts to pressure or intimidate the country would be counterproductive. Ghosh cited the recent interactions with Trump as evidence of India’s assertiveness and strength in international relations.
