Shiv Sena leader and MP, Sanjay Raut, criticized the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis-led Mahayuti government for the poor state of Mumbai’s infrastructure during the monsoon. Raut urged the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister to personally inspect Mumbai’s condition, emphasizing the need for better development strategies.

Raut highlighted the deteriorating condition of the Mumbai Pune Missing Link, alleging widespread corruption and commissions in infrastructure projects. He accused the government of neglecting essential infrastructure maintenance and prioritizing personal gains over public welfare.

In a sarcastic remark, Raut mentioned Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s hospitalization due to “an indigestion of development,” criticizing the government’s handling of crucial issues. He also criticized the BJP leadership for their alleged involvement in local tragedies and corruption scandals.

Raut further accused the BJP of failing to address critical issues during their tenure, pointing out discrepancies in the administration of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). He questioned the BJP’s performance over the past four-and-a-half years and alleged mismanagement and corruption in various government projects.
