Shiv Sena-UBT MP Sanjay Raut has urged for the filing of an FIR against the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and has called for its dissolution. Raut emphasized that the resignations of the Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra would not suffice in addressing the situation. Raut highlighted concerns over alleged theft of donations at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple and discussed the shift of six MPs to the Shinde faction during an exclusive interaction.
Raut expressed dissatisfaction with Champat Rai’s resignation, stressing the need for a comprehensive approach. He pointed out that despite the presence of CCTV cameras at the temple, donations were being stolen over an extended period without detection. Raut called for accountability by suggesting that an FIR should be lodged against the entire Trust, followed by its dissolution.
Regarding the rebel MPs who switched to the Shinde faction, Raut acknowledged the breach of trust by these individuals. He criticized their actions, attributing their defection to monetary gain. Raut highlighted the involvement of Trinamool Congress MPs in similar activities and underscored the need to address such issues within the party.
Raut expressed skepticism about the prospects of receiving justice in light of recent political developments. He referenced instances where party members left for monetary reasons and questioned the efficacy of seeking justice through formal channels. Raut’s comments reflected a sense of disillusionment with the current political landscape and the challenges faced by the Shiv Sena-UBT.
