Regarding the Election Commission, Raut criticized its alleged bias towards the BJP, accusing it of not ensuring fair democratic practices. He stressed the importance of conducting elections transparently and without external influence, urging for the protection of democratic principles.
In a strategic move, the Shiv Sena-UBT leader discussed the alliance with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) for the upcoming BMC elections. Raut highlighted the significance of unity within the party and its alliances, aiming to secure a strong position in the civic polls.
