Three months after the tragic death of six-year-old Vennila in Bengaluru’s Kadugodi area, police investigations have unveiled disturbing revelations. The child’s mother and her alleged live-in partner now face a murder case following accusations of brutality against Vennila. The accused reportedly believed the child was interfering with their relationship and privacy.
The incident, which occurred on March 25 at a villa in Seegehalli, initially led to the registration of an unnatural death case. However, suspicions raised by the child’s father prompted a deeper probe into the circumstances surrounding Vennila’s death. Police investigations have disclosed that the child was allegedly assaulted and eventually strangled to death by her mother’s partner.
According to reports, the accused spent nearly 12 hours with the child’s body after the murder, driving around the city before reporting the death. The child’s father alleged that the accused, his wife Priyanka, and her partner Mohan had planned to start a new life together, with Vennila becoming an obstacle to their plans. The police have registered a murder case against Priyanka and Mohan, with investigations ongoing.
