The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has addressed concerns raised by the Sindhi community regarding the 200 kg of silver donations made to the Ram Mandir in 2021. Responding to queries from the Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam, the Trust confirmed that all silver donations are duly recorded in its records.
The Trust explained that the 200 silver bricks were melted down, along with other silver contributions, to create 20 kg silver bars of 99.99% purity. It ensured that the entire process was conducted following proper procedures, with detailed documentation and photographs of the manufacturing stages.
These newly produced silver bars are securely stored in a locker at the State Bank of India branch in Ayodhya for future use in the Trust’s activities. Additionally, the Trust has requested details from the Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam to issue official receipts to the 200 donors, including their personal information for individual acknowledgments.
Amid these developments, the Trust is also addressing an investigation into alleged cash donation theft at the Ram Temple. Authorities in Ayodhya have sought custody of three individuals arrested in connection with the case to probe their financial transactions. The Special Investigation Team, formed by the Uttar Pradesh government at the Trust’s request, has submitted a preliminary report highlighting procedural lapses and irregularities.
