The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has confirmed the resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra due to the ongoing uproar over alleged mismanagement of donations and offerings at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Both prominent members of the Temple Trust submitted their resignations on moral grounds, marking the first official acknowledgment of their departure amidst widespread speculation and conflicting reports.
Expressing shock and sadness over the donation controversy, the Trust stated that it will discuss and make a final decision on the resignations at its upcoming meeting. The Trust emphasized its dedication to conducting a fair investigation and maintaining the faith of millions of devout Hindus.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, the Trust assured devotees that their contributions, including silver bricks and jewelry, are secure, with detailed records available. Legal actions are being pursued based on a Special Investigation Team’s interim report, with steps being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future and ensure accountability under the law.
