A nine-day Shri Ram Katha by Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj is set to commence from Monday until June 9 at Brij Ki Rasoi premises on Sitapur Road in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The event aims to convey Lord Ram’s ideals and Indian cultural values through discourses led by the renowned saint. Organizers are hopeful that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath might grace the occasion.
The organizing committee anticipates the presence of several Ministers from the Yogi Adityanath government on various dates during the Katha. There is a likelihood of Chief Minister Adityanath attending the event, with special arrangements being made in preparation for his visit. Notably, the Katha serves as a platform to reinforce moral values, family traditions, social harmony, and national awareness in society.
Inspired by Lord Ram’s life, each day of the Katha will feature a unique episode, including significant events like Lord Ram’s birth, Sita Ram Vivah, and the Shri Ram Rajyabhishek on the final day. Jagadguru Rambhadracharya, a key figure in the Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi case, has been honored with the Padma Vibhushan award by the Union government for his notable contributions.
The Katha’s schedule includes various narrations such as the Kalash Yatra, Guru Vandana, Bharadwaj-Yagnavalkya dialogue, and episodes like Sita’s appearance, Shiva’s marriage, and Ram’s birth anniversary. The event will conclude on June 9 with activities like the burning of Lanka, Lord Ram’s coronation, and a grand feast, followed by the distribution of Mahaprasad to devotees.
