Shafi Burfat, Chairman of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), criticized the Pakistani military for shifting blame to neighboring countries instead of addressing internal shortcomings. He highlighted the military’s use of falsehoods to mask political manipulation, economic exploitation, and human rights abuses. Burfat emphasized that Pakistan’s military operates as a self-serving entity, undermining democratic institutions and fostering corruption.
The Sindhi leader condemned the military’s brutality towards civilians, including Sindhis, Baloch, and Pashtuns, while avoiding global accountability. He criticized Pakistan for deflecting responsibility onto India and Afghanistan instead of acknowledging its own failures. Burfat underscored the military’s reliance on deception, repression, and violence to maintain power.
Burfat stated that Pakistan’s military lacks moral and intellectual integrity, existing as a corrupt structure sustained by coercion and falsehoods. He accused Pakistan of using terrorism as a tool of state policy rather than addressing it as a criminal offense. The Sindhi leader called for a reevaluation of Pakistan’s foundation, rooted in coercion and conflict, urging global scrutiny of its deceptive practices.
