The song “Luka Chuppi,” originally sung by the late Lata Mangeshkar and penned by Prasoon Joshi, was featured in the acclaimed film starring Aamir Khan. Royal’s video included a message stating, “I couldn’t stay silent. I use my voice to stand with every student protesting.”
In her caption, Royal called for dialogue and a peaceful resolution to the ongoing protests, expressing her concern for those affected and hoping for a peaceful outcome. “Rang De Basanti,” a coming-of-age drama directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, features an ensemble cast including Aamir Khan, Siddharth, and Waheeda Rahman.
