Singer Kunal Ganjawala recently disclosed an interesting anecdote about the creation of the popular track “Dil Keh Raha Hai” from the movie “Kyon Ki,” starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Ganjawala revealed that he and composer Himesh Reshammiya completed the entire song in just 20 minutes. During a conversation with Reshammiya, Ganjawala was instructed to infuse the same romantic and youthful essence as another song, “Hum Dum Suniyo Re,” for Salman Khan.
Himesh Reshammiya, who was occupied with another task, guided Ganjawala over the phone, emphasizing the specific vibe required for the song. Despite an initial misinterpretation by Reshammiya’s father, the team swiftly reworked the track to meet the desired vision. Ganjawala praised Reshammiya’s clarity of direction and shared that the song was finalized within a short span of 15-20 minutes.
The film “Kyon Ki,” directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Sunil Manchanda and Mukesh Talreja under Orion Pictures and MAD Entertainment Ltd., is a remake of Priyadarshan’s earlier work “Thalavattam.” Inspired by the film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” the narrative revolves around Anand, a patient in a mental hospital, and his emotional bond with Dr. Tanvi, portrayed by Kareena Kapoor. Alongside Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the movie features Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Rimi Sen, Om Puri, and others in significant roles.
