The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is currently questioning Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at his residence in Hyderabad. The examination is related to the telephone-tapping case, with officials seen carrying case-related documents. Tight security measures have been implemented around KCR’s house to prevent any disturbance.
KCR is being examined by the SIT officials in a room on the second floor of his residence, with his son and other family members present. Security has been heightened to deter any potential gathering of BRS supporters. The questioning comes after KCR was issued a notice to appear before the SIT in Hyderabad.
The SIT had summoned KCR earlier, but he requested a different date due to prior commitments. Despite legal objections, KCR agreed to the examination at his residence. This questioning is part of the investigation into alleged phone tapping during the BRS rule, involving various individuals including political opponents and journalists.
