India’s Smriti Mandhana and Australia’s Alana King have risen to the top spots in the latest ICC Women’s ODI rankings. Mandhana showcased impressive performances with scores of 58 and 31, surpassing Laura Wolvaardt. On the other hand, King claimed the top position in the bowlers’ rankings after a stellar week, including a notable 4-33 in the third ODI.
Australia’s King is now joined by four other Australian bowlers in the top eight rankings. The series also saw notable performances from Beth Mooney, Ash Gardner, and Alyssa Healy, who bid farewell to her ODI career with a century in her final match, securing the fourth position in the rankings.
Despite India’s loss in all three matches, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur made a significant move back into the top 10 batters’ rankings, landing in ninth place. Gardner leads the ODI All-Rounder Rankings, with Hayley Matthews from the West Indies following in second place.
