SOBO Mumbai Falcons advanced to the final of the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women’s League by defeating Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburb by 39 runs. The Falcons, after setting a target of 143/7, showcased strong bowling to restrict the Tigers to 104 all out.
The Tigers faced an early setback with skipper Humairaa Kaazi dismissed for a duck. Despite a 47-run partnership between Sanika Chalke and Sejal Raut, the Tigers struggled to maintain momentum. Sayali Satghare, Nirmiti Rane, and Swara Jadhav each claimed two wickets to lead the Falcons’ bowling attack.
Sarika Koli’s solid 49 and contributions from Simran Shaikh and Aarohi Bambode guided the Falcons to a competitive total. Despite losing wickets, Koli’s anchoring innings ensured the Falcons reached 143/7. The Falcons’ all-round performance secured their unbeaten streak in the tournament.
