South Korea’s Interior and Safety Minister Yun Hojung and his delegation met with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in New Delhi. The discussions highlighted the strong partnership between India and South Korea based on shared values and a commitment to growth. They explored collaboration in technology, innovation, disaster management, and infrastructure development.
The meeting emphasized the importance of parliamentary cooperation and strengthening people-to-people ties between India and South Korea. Union Minister Jitendra Singh is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Minister Yun Hojung to discuss governance, public administration, and citizen-centric service delivery. The focus will be on areas such as digital government and capacity building.
In another meeting, Minister Hojung engaged with Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal. The discussions centered on enhancing the India-South Korea partnership, focusing on sustainable urban development, regional balance, mobility systems, and climate-resilient infrastructure.
