Students and youths protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi criticized the NDA government for exam irregularities. They expressed dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for fast-track courts, insisting on the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan instead. The protesters emphasized the need for their demands to be heard peacefully by the government.

During the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march on July 20, protesters faced police action, leading to allegations of harassment and forceful detainment. The demonstrators felt that the government’s response was aimed at suppressing their movement rather than addressing the underlying issues.

Some protesters highlighted PM Modi’s silence on alleged police brutality during the recent march. They viewed the government’s actions as mere formalities and called for tangible accountability, not just social media statements.

The agitators stressed that the establishment of fast-track courts by the government must be accompanied by concrete solutions for the students. They demanded actions over promises, expressing skepticism until real progress is seen on the ground.

PM Modi’s announcement of fast-track courts to combat paper leaks and his warning to those jeopardizing youth’s futures triggered varied responses from the protesters.
