Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai was moved by the positive reception of Dharmendra’s final movie “Ikkis” at a special screening. Ghai expressed joy at the audience’s love for the film and praised the performances of the main cast, including Jaideep Ahlawat and Agasta Nanda.

Congratulating the Deol family and the creators of “Ikkis,” Ghai took to Instagram to share his feelings. He mentioned the warm applause the movie received at its premiere in Mumbai and highlighted the emotional drama and performances that were well-received by everyone.

Actress Ameesha Patel also expressed gratitude to Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol for organizing a special screening of “Ikkis.” She appreciated Dharmendra’s charming innocence, which she felt made the movie heartwarming and endearing.

Ameesha described “Ikkis” as a sweet and touching film that pays a fitting tribute to the legendary Dharmendra. She emphasized the emotional depth brought by Dharmendra’s performance and his unique ability to make the movie truly heartwarming.

The film “Ikkis” is based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra during the 1971 war. Dharmendra portrays Arun’s father in the movie, adding a poignant touch to the narrative.
