Filmmaker Subhash Ghai commended Aditya Dhar for his film “Dhurandhar,” hailing it as a prime example of artistic filmmaking in Hindi cinema. Ghai expressed admiration for the film’s intricate storytelling and detailed execution, emphasizing its unique presentation on a commercial platform.
In an Instagram post, Ghai lauded the chapter-wise narrative, complex conflicts, and well-developed characters in “Dhurandhar.” He also praised elements like casting, costumes, cinematography, and the authentic action sequences, as well as the film’s elaborate sets.
“Dhurandhar,” featuring actors like Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt, is the first part of a two-film series centered on an anti-terror covert operation in Karachi, Pakistan. The storyline loosely connects to real-life events, including the IC-814 hijacking, the Indian Parliament attack, the Mumbai attacks, and Operation Lyari.
Ghai expressed pride in Aditya Dhar and the entire team behind “Dhurandhar,” acknowledging the film’s commercial success and offering his blessings for their future endeavors.
