Renowned singer Sukhwinder Singh shared a surprising revelation on a recent episode of “Indian Idol.” He disclosed that he was not originally intended to sing the popular track ‘Beedi Jalaile’ from the movie ‘Omkara.’ Despite his initial absence in the song, his contribution turned it into one of Bollywood’s most successful duets.
Singh recounted how a small part in the song evolved into something extraordinary. He narrated the incident, stating that lyricist Gulzar suggested adding a line to the song, which transformed it significantly. This addition led to the creation of a memorable duet that resonated with audiences.
The judges on the show were deeply moved by Singh’s singing. Shreya Ghoshal praised his voice, highlighting the devotion and spiritual essence he brings to his performances. Judge Vishal Dadlani also expressed admiration, stating that Singh’s voice is truly deserving of worship.
