Actor Sunny Deol spent time with Indian Army officers at INS Vikrant ahead of the “Border 2” release on January 23. He shared a selfie with Indian Navy officers on his official Instagram. Sunny, known for his role in the original “Border” (1997), expressed his patriotism in a post, wearing a green shirt and turban against a backdrop of the sea.
The recent song launch of “Ghar Kab Aaoge” from “Border 2” saw Sunny sharing that he took up “Border” inspired by his father, Dharmendra. He mentioned being influenced by his father’s film “Haqeeqat” and decided to follow his legacy in cinema. Dharmendra, a legendary actor, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89.
“Border 2” features actors Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty alongside Sunny. Varun, playing PVC Hoshiar Singh, met Singh’s wife and family recently, expressing gratitude for carrying forward Singh’s legacy. The movie, presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in collaboration with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films, is set to hit theaters on January 23, 2026.
