Farooq Abdullah, a respected leader, has a history of serving as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir multiple times between 1982 and 2002, as well as holding the position of Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy from 2009 to 2014. His father, Sheikh Abdullah, was the region’s first elected Chief Minister, and he is the father of the current Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.
