Director Bharat Krishnamachari’s historical action epic ‘Swayambhu’, starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Samyuktha, and Nabha Natesh, is set to premiere globally on April 10 this year, as announced by the filmmakers. Produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu, ‘Swayambhu’ has garnered significant anticipation among fans and cinephiles alike. Nikhil Siddhartha’s dedication to the role saw him training in martial arts in Vietnam, showcasing his sword-fighting skills in the film.
The production of ‘Swayambhu’ involved extensive training for the cast in sword fighting, with a team of Vietnamese experts flown in for the purpose. The film’s climax, shot over 60 days at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, featured hundreds of artistes, making it a monumental endeavor in Nikhil Siddhartha’s career.
Rooted in India’s rich cultural heritage, ‘Swayambhu’ promises to unveil lesser-known narratives from the past, focusing on the valor of a legendary warrior and exploring uncharted territories beyond conventional historical accounts.
