Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone shared on Instagram that the fourth season of “Tulsa King” and a spin-off series named “Frisco King” are currently in production. Stallone posted a photo from the set of the comedy and crime drama series, showing him and Samuel L. Jackson with the script and the show’s creator. The original series, “Tulsa King,” debuted in 2022, featuring Stallone in his first leading role on television as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, an ex-Mafia caporegime setting up a criminal empire in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Paramount has already renewed “Tulsa King” for a second season, which aired in 2024, and confirmed a third season that premiered in 2025. Now, a fourth season and a spin-off, “Frisco King,” starring Samuel L. Jackson, have been greenlit. Stallone, known for his illustrious film career spanning over five decades, has received various awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe and being part of box-office hits for six consecutive decades, a feat shared only with Harrison Ford.
In a recent development, Stallone and Quentin Tarantino are set to co-direct and co-write a six-part miniseries featuring gangsters, showgirls, boxing, and music. The series, shot in black and white with 1930s cameras, was announced in March 2026.
