The meeting was described as warm, respectful, and friendly by sources present. Jai expressed gratitude for the time spent with Vijay and wished him good health, strength, and continued success in serving the people of Tamil Nadu.
Jai had previously shown support for Vijay during the release issues faced by his film ‘Jana Nayagan.’ He eagerly awaited the film’s release, considering it a festival day akin to Pongal. In his upcoming project ‘Texla,’ Jai will star alongside Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramudu under the direction of Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film commenced with a grand pooja ceremony at the Leela Palace in March, attended by the cast, crew, and various film personalities including Seeman and Samuthirakani.
Sources close to the film unit revealed that Suraj Venjaramudu will portray Jai’s father in the movie, while George Maryan, known for his impactful role in ‘Dragon,’ will play a significant part in the film.
