Director Santhakumar’s Tamil romantic crime drama ‘Rasavathi’ has secured its seventh International Award, winning Best Cinematography at the London International Filmmakers Festival. The film, starring Arjun Das and Tanya Ravichandran, had previously been nominated in five categories at the Nice International Film Festival in France. ‘Rasavathi’ has garnered acclaim globally, with actor Arjun Das also receiving accolades for his performance.
Director Santhakumar expressed his gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the film’s success at international festivals. Actor Arjun Das, known for his role as ‘Sadasiva Pandiyan,’ won the Best Actor award at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival and the New Jersey Indian and International Film Festival for his performance in ‘Rasavathi.’ The film’s sound design, crafted by Tapas Nayak, was honored at the London International Film Festival.
‘Rasavathi’ features a talented cast, including Sujith Shankar, Ramya Subramanian, and G.M. Sundar, among others. With music by SS Thaman and cinematography by Saravanan Elavarasu and Sivakumar, the film showcases a collaborative effort in filmmaking.
