As the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections draw near, political activities in the state have escalated. The ruling DMK is preparing to kick off its extensive election campaign with the theme ‘Tamil Nadu Will Not Bow’. This campaign will span all 234 Assembly constituencies, featuring 22 key speakers chosen by DMK President M.K. Stalin to lead the outreach efforts.
The campaign events are structured as interactive platforms, involving local personalities, youth, students, entrepreneurs, and academic experts. These events aim to showcase the government’s welfare schemes, development projects, and policy initiatives while also gathering feedback from the public. The DMK’s women’s wing has also ramped up its campaign efforts, appointing a woman in charge for each constituency to focus on grassroots mobilization and women-centric outreach.
In a bid to solidify its position in the upcoming elections, the DMK is gearing up for an aggressive campaign by deploying senior leaders, activating organizational units, and emphasizing direct voter engagement. With Tamil Nadu gearing up for a competitive electoral battle, the DMK is determined to make a strong push to secure its hold on power.
