A tanker in the Strait of Hormuz was hit by an unidentified projectile, causing damage to its bridge. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the crew members. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) issued a warning regarding the incident.

The United States conducted airstrikes on Iranian military targets in response to Tehran’s attack on a Singapore-flagged commercial cargo ship in the same area. This marked the first direct military retaliation by Washington since a recent ceasefire agreement between the two nations. US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the strikes targeted Iranian missile and drone storage sites, as well as coastal radar installations.

The M/V Ever Lovely, a commercial vessel, was attacked by an Iranian one-way drone while exiting the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast. In response, CENTCOM forces launched strikes against Iranian missile and drone storage locations, along with coastal radar sites. The US deemed Iran’s attack on the merchant vessel a violation of the ceasefire agreement.

US President Donald Trump accused Iran of breaching the ceasefire by launching multiple one-way attack drones at commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump highlighted that one of the drones struck a cargo-carrying ship’s upper deck, emphasizing the severity of the situation.
