Following the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in Ghaziabad, neighbors claimed that a hospital had refused treatment to the teenager because his family could not afford the required money. They expressed frustration over the delay in receiving the boy’s body, emphasizing that timely medical attention could have saved him.
A local woman disclosed that the medical staff declined treatment to the teenager citing financial constraints. She highlighted the tragic situation where the boy’s life could have been spared if the family had the means to pay Rs. 4 lakh for treatment. The family continues to await updates from authorities even after more than 48 hours have passed since the incident.
Expressing demands for justice, the woman insisted on severe action against the perpetrators, suggesting encounters and demolition of their residences. Another local resident mentioned the reluctance of individuals in Muslim-dominated areas to share CCTV footage related to the incident.
The resident narrated a distressing account of the attack, describing a video where the teenager was brutally assaulted, leading to his death. He advocated for stringent measures against the accused, citing the victim’s aspirations and family circumstances. The local community highlighted a past dispute between the victim and the attackers, underscoring the need for preventive actions to avert such tragedies.
