Tejashwi Yadav has been appointed as the National Working President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during a party executive meeting in Patna. Following his appointment, Tejashwi sought blessings by touching his father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s feet. Senior party leaders have expressed support for this decision, believing that the RJD will strengthen under Tejashwi’s leadership.
This move is viewed as a crucial step in the party’s future plans and is expected to boost the RJD’s influence in Bihar politics. The RJD announced the news on the social media platform X, marking it as the beginning of a new era with Tejashwi Yadav as the Working President.
Meanwhile, Rohini Acharya, Lalu Yadav’s daughter and Tejashwi’s sister, criticized the appointment in a post on X, referring to it as the “grand finale of a man’s glorious innings.” She raised concerns about the party’s current state and leadership, emphasizing the need for accountability among those in charge. Rohini urged true followers of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s ideology to oppose what she described as “infiltrators and conspirators” aiming to harm the party.
