Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao has urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to clear pending fee reimbursement dues of Rs 12,000 crore within a week or step down as the state’s Education Minister. Rao emphasized the need for Reddy to address the issue affecting around 20 lakh students. He pointed out the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak as an example of accountability.

Rao criticized Reddy for allegedly jeopardizing the future of numerous students by failing to settle the outstanding dues. He highlighted the importance of resolving the fee reimbursement crisis to enable students to pursue higher education and employment opportunities. Additionally, BJP MP D.K. Aruna accused an individual linked to the Aam Admi Party (AAP) of trying to incite unrest among the youth to undermine Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Aruna claimed that the recent protests in Delhi involved more outsiders than actual students and alleged a conspiracy to instigate violence through foreign funding. She commended the central government’s swift actions in response to the NEET paper leak, including the cancellation of the exam and its subsequent re-conduct. Aruna further accused the Congress of tarnishing the country’s image and criticized Rahul Gandhi for not engaging in parliamentary debates but resorting to street protests.

The BJP MP also raised concerns about corruption in Congress-ruled states, alleging financial support from such states to the party in Delhi. She questioned the lack of accountability in previous paper leaks under different governments and called for transparency in addressing such issues.
