Telangana Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao recently oversaw the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Hyderabad on May 10. The review meeting, held at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, focused on ensuring comprehensive arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit. Various departments were directed to collaborate closely to guarantee a successful and secure visit.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate multiple development projects during his visit and address a public meeting at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad. To facilitate this, the Chief Secretary instructed the Police Department to make essential security, law and order, traffic, and bandobast arrangements following the Blue Book protocol. Additionally, the Fire Services Department was tasked with deploying adequate fire tenders at key locations, while the Health Department was directed to provide necessary medical facilities.
Various departments, including Police, GHMC, Roads & Buildings, and Electricity, were assigned specific tasks to ensure the smooth execution of the visit. Inspections of the Prime Minister’s convoy routes, repairs, uninterrupted power supply, and other logistical aspects were emphasized. The coordination among all departments was highlighted as crucial for the successful conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit.
Director General of Police C V. Anand and several other high-ranking officials attended the review meeting to discuss and plan for the upcoming visit. Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar expressed his readiness to witness Prime Minister Modi’s address at Parade Grounds on May 10, emphasizing the Prime Minister’s leadership and commitment to national development.
