Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed concern over the recent NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, stating that it has jeopardized students’ futures. He emphasized the importance of upholding the credibility of national-level exams and demanded strict action against those responsible for the leak. Reddy highlighted the distress caused to lakhs of students and parents due to the cancellation of the exam and urged for a transparent investigation to ensure justice.
The Chief Minister criticized the failures and corruption in both BJP and BRS-led governments, pointing out the need for accountability and integrity in the examination process. He stressed the significance of competitive exams being avenues for merit and opportunity rather than sources of anxiety. Reddy pledged support to affected students and called for enhanced measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
In response to the crisis, the Telangana Youth Congress staged a protest condemning the paper leak and demanding resignations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The protestors called for accountability and moral responsibility in light of the examination irregularities. Youth Congress leaders and workers participated in the demonstration, advocating for justice for the affected students.
