Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed the Director General of Police C.V. Anand to guarantee that the general public faces no inconvenience during the movement of VIPs in the state. Reddy emphasized the importance of avoiding delays for people on roads due to his convoy. He expressed concern over traffic congestion near the airport and directed the DGP to take action against officials responsible for disruptions.
Following the CM’s orders, DGP Anand conducted a video conference with senior officers to address the issue. An Additional DGP will lead a new Traffic Bureau to enhance traffic management in the state. The DGP stressed the need for efficient traffic flow during CM’s movements, suggesting alternative routes during peak traffic times and heightened vigilance near the airport.
The DGP emphasized zero tolerance for illegal parking on the Outer Ring Road and urged coordination between Law & Order personnel and traffic police for effective regulation. Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh, and other officials participated in the video conference to discuss these directives.
