Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged people to take responsibility for eliminating the child labour system in society. He emphasized that every child deserves the right to a happy childhood, education, and opportunities to fulfill their dreams. The Chief Minister highlighted the collective duty to ensure that child labour, which deprives children of these rights, has no place in society.
The government is dedicated to providing children with quality education, security, a healthy environment, and equal opportunities. Chief Minister Reddy called on families, teachers, voluntary organizations, public representatives, and all citizens to join hands in achieving this objective. He stressed that the child labour system must not be tolerated, and it is the duty of every citizen to report any instances of children working to the authorities.
Emphasizing the importance of rescuing children from labour, the Chief Minister stated that children should have books in their hands, not tools. He underscored the need to create an environment where every child can grow up happily, learning, and dreaming. Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, also emphasized the need to protect the rights of every child and build a society where every child has access to opportunities.
