Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy honored Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary. The Governor hailed Ambedkar as a key figure in India’s history and the architect of the Indian Constitution. Emphasizing Ambedkar’s enduring impact, the Governor praised his dedication to justice, equality, and the empowerment of the marginalized.
Highlighting the importance of upholding constitutional values, the Governor urged citizens to support the rights of the underprivileged. He called for unity and solidarity in following Ambedkar’s principles for a fair and inclusive society. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also lauded Ambedkar’s contributions to social welfare and empowerment, especially for disadvantaged groups like Dalits, Adivasis, and women.
Recognizing Ambedkar’s foresight in shaping the nation’s future through the Constitution, the Chief Minister underlined his ongoing influence as a global role model. Referring to the government’s initiatives inspired by Ambedkar’s ideals, he mentioned steps taken for the welfare of marginalized communities. These include measures to enhance reservations and improve living conditions in government hostels for Dalits and tribals.
In a bid to promote quality education, the Chief Minister announced plans for constructing integrated residential schools across constituencies. These schools aim to provide inclusive education to children from diverse backgrounds, reflecting Ambedkar’s vision of empowerment through knowledge.
