Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant praised the upcoming Telangana High Court complex, stating it will be the finest in the nation. The new complex, to be built on 100 acres at Rajendranagar, will house courtrooms, administrative buildings, archives, and residential and training facilities all in one place.

During the foundation stone-laying ceremony for Zone-II of the complex, the Chief Justice expressed confidence in the project’s quality. He highlighted the importance of institutional self-sufficiency and the significance of the auditorium and central record room within the new complex.

The Chief Justice emphasized the need for a self-sustaining judiciary and praised the sustainable infrastructure integrated into the design. He thanked the Telangana government for its support, providing both land and funding for the project, which is expected to be completed in two years.

Expressing satisfaction with the progress of Zone-I, the Chief Justice underscored the importance of physical infrastructure for ensuring access to justice. He stressed the transformative impact of the new High Court campus, designed to meet the institution’s needs for the next century.
