Congress’s Telangana MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna has criticized the leaders of ruling NDA in Andhra Pradesh for staying silent on the death of a marine engineer from Visakhapatnam in a US attack on a vessel off Oman’s coast. Krishna specifically called out Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Telugu Desam Party’s Nara Lokesh for their lack of response.
Krishna expressed his disappointment with the ruling coalition leaders for not acknowledging the sacrifice of Indian sailors, including Patnala Suresh from Visakhapatnam, who lost their lives in the American attack. He questioned the morality of supporting the Central government solely for personal gain and neglecting fundamental values.
Chief Engineer Suresh, along with two other Indian seafarers, was killed in the US attack on the Palau-flagged oil tanker MT Settebello near the Strait of Hormuz. Despite the tragic incident, there has been no official statement or reaction from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, or any other minister from Andhra Pradesh.
