A 28-year-old man from Telangana, Anshul Kuncha, was fatally shot while delivering pizza in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Anshul, who worked part-time as a pizza delivery person, was shot at close range after receiving a suspected fake order. The incident occurred late at night, and he was shot multiple times in the head by unidentified assailants.
Anshul’s family believes that the delivery order was a setup to harm him, as he was directed to a deserted location where he was attacked. The motive behind the killing remains unclear, as nothing was stolen from Anshul. Reports suggest that two masked gunmen were spotted in the vicinity at the time of the shooting. Anshul’s family expressed shock and grief over the tragic incident, alleging that he was deliberately lured into a dangerous situation.
His family has requested assistance from the Central and State governments to repatriate Anshul’s body to India. The US authorities are expected to release the body soon, and efforts are being made to expedite the process. The Consulate General of India in New York has assured support to the bereaved family and is coordinating with local authorities to provide necessary assistance during this difficult time.
