Telangana’s Chief Electoral Officer, C. Sudharsan Reddy, has instructed district election officers to speed up the digitisation of enumeration forms for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision process. In a video conference with officials, he emphasized the need for timely completion of activities and transparency in dealings with political parties.
The CEO highlighted the importance of supervising the process closely and ensuring the inclusion of VVIP and VIP electors in the rolls. He also directed officials to facilitate electors in form submission, address grievances promptly, and verify cases of Absent, Shifted, Dead (ASD) accurately.
Officials were urged to monitor progress diligently, especially in urban areas and constituencies with slower progress rates. The CEO stressed the need for efficient coordination to achieve a 90% completion rate in the enumeration process by the week’s end.
