Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha recently delighted fans by sharing a video of himself indulging in ice cream after following a strict diet for nearly two years in preparation for the upcoming historical action film ‘Swayambhu’. The video, posted on his Instagram, captured Nikhil enjoying the sweet treat with his team, signaling a break from his intense training regimen. Alongside Nikhil, the movie will star actresses Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh in leading roles, with a scheduled global release on April 10.
Initially planned for a February 13 release coinciding with Maha Shivaratri, ‘Swayambhu’ has been rescheduled to April 10 due to additional VFX work requirements. The film, produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu, has garnered significant anticipation among fans and cinephiles alike. Nikhil Siddhartha’s dedication to the project saw him undergo martial arts training in Vietnam, mastering sword fighting to an impressive degree, even wielding swords in both hands during combat scenes.
Reports revealed that not only Nikhil but also the supporting cast received specialized sword fighting training from Vietnamese experts, with a massive climax sequence involving hundreds of artistes shot over 60 days at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. ‘Swayambhu’, deeply rooted in Indian cultural heritage, promises to unveil lesser-known historical narratives, focusing on the valor of a legendary warrior who left an indelible mark on his era.
