The much-anticipated Telugu movie ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat’, directed by Tharun Bhascker and starring Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu, is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on November 19 this year. The film’s announcement coincides with the eighth anniversary of the original blockbuster, with the team releasing a nostalgic video featuring the beloved Friendship anthem.
‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ was a huge success, resonating particularly with the youth for its genuine portrayal of friendship and ambition. Due to its increasing popularity over time, the movie attained cult status, evident from the overwhelming response during its re-release. Building on this success, the makers decided to create a sequel titled ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat (ENE Repeat)’.
The sequel reunites Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu, along with Srinath Maganti, promising to recreate the magic that made the original film memorable. Tharun Bhascker returns as the director, maintaining the unique storytelling style, with Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagireddy producing the film under S Originals and Rootnode Cinema.
Filmed in Thailand for a month in April, the sequel captures a laid-back charm, as seen in a released picture featuring the four boys from the “Team Kanyaraasi” gang lounging in a vintage blue convertible. The movie boasts a talented technical team, with Vivek Sagar composing the music, AJ Aaron handling cinematography, and Raviteja Girijala overseeing editing.
