A tense situation unfolded at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur during the post-mortem examination of Rajasthan Kathavachak Sadhvi Prem Baisa. Hundreds of devotees gathered, causing a brief disturbance, which was later resolved with police and administrative intervention. The body of Sadhvi Prem Baisa was released after the situation was brought under control.
Sadvi Prem Baisa’s last rites are scheduled for Friday morning, with the cremation set to take place in Jasti village of Jodhpur district, approximately 63 km from Jaipur. Questions surrounding the circumstances of her death have intensified, with doubts raised by several devotees regarding the ashram management and her family. Her father alleged that her death resulted from a “wrong injection” and called for justice.
Jodhpur Commissioner of Police (West), Chhavi Sharma, mentioned that Sadhvi Prem Baisa had been unwell for two days before her death. Following an injection administered on Wednesday, her condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to her demise at Preksha Hospital. Her father emphasized the need for a thorough investigation, stating his daughter’s last wish was for justice to be served.
