An anonymous threat to blow up the Ahmedabad rural court caused panic and increased security measures in the area. Upon receiving the threatening message, fire department vehicles and senior officials rushed to the court. Firefighters were placed on high alert, and a thorough search operation was conducted by police and fire department teams across the court premises.
The security alert led to the evacuation of lawyers, litigants, and court staff as a precautionary measure. Authorities are working to trace the source of the threat and find the responsible person. While initial information suggests the threat aimed to instill fear, strict security protocols are being followed as the investigation progresses.
Earlier on the same day, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad also received a bomb threat email, prompting immediate action by airport authorities and the police. The threat resulted in a formal complaint being registered at the airport police station and an overall increase in security at the airport. The threatening email, sent from an unidentified email ID, mentioned the name Amber Durham and contained alarming statements targeting the airport.
